West Haven is a rapidly-growing community located to the west of Ogden. Incorporated in 1991, the city has seen a lot of growth in recent years, increasing from around 4,000 people in 2000 to over 11,000 today. Most of the move-ins have been young families with children, causing the average age in the city to be very low at only 27 years. If you are planning on moving with little ones, you will find that many of your neighbors are in the same boat. This has a high ownership rate, so you can expect your neighbors to stick around for a while.
There are plenty of good schools in the area, so you can be close by no matter your children’s ages. And with a very low crime rate, you can even feel safe letting them walk to school.
